<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make information of multimedia reproduction values invisible even by low-precision printing facilities, and to provide a method and device without lowering the picture quality of a printed image having reproduction value information embedded. <P>SOLUTION: Print data and multimedia data are input (S1), one or more areas corresponding to the respective multimedia data are extracted from the print data (S2), and one or more necessary reproduction values to be associated with the multimedia data are obtained for the areas (S3) and then converted into screen codes having characteristics of a print screen as well (S4). Further, the converted screen codes are matrix-arranged and superposed on the print data to embed information (S5), thereby generating new print data (S6). Multimedia reproduction data made to correspond to reproduction values by the multimedia data are generated (S7) and output (S8). The availability thereof is characterized in that the reproduction values are made invisible even by low-precision printing facilities and a print image is free of a feeling of incompatibility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
