<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: it is difficult for a service person to prepare all documents that are expected to be required at a site where he or she is dispatched when he or she performs maintenance; and it is impossible to cope with such a case that there suddenly arises a need for a document at the site where he or she is dispatched. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device is connected to a network, and is equipped with a browser. It sends a menu request including its own information to a control server, and when it receives a response to the menu request, it analyzes the content of the response.
