<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a chronology in which a plurality of images are arranged. <P>SOLUTION: The first image of the earliest image taking date in a plurality of images to be arranged, is arranged at one end of a rectangle of predetermined display resolution, and the second image of the latest image taking date in the images to be arranged, is arranged at the other end of the rectangle. Intermediate images excluding the first image and the second image in the images to be arranged, are arranged in an area between the first image and the second image in the rectangle so that they are lined in the order of each image taking date, and an arrangement interval corresponds to the image taking interval.
