PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent radiation from leaking rearward if a diaphragm can not follow a radiation detection part because the radiation detection part is suddenly rotated. SOLUTION: A system is waiting in the state of preparation for the radiography in the step S1. If gripping of a control handle is detected in the step S2, the step advances to the step S3, and an electromagnetic brake is released so that the radiation detection part is in such a state as can rotate around the center of the area to be radiographed. If the angle of rotation is detected in the step S5, the shape of the diaphragm is switched from a first diaphragm shape to cover the effective radiographic area of the radiation detection part to a second diaphragm shape to be always enclosed inside the effective radiographic area even if the radiation detection part is rotated in the step S6. The X-ray diaphragm is rotated to synchronize with the measured angle of the radiation detection part in the step S7. When rotation of the radiation detection part is stopped by an operator in the step S5 and the detection of rotation is turned off, the step advances to the step S8, and the diaphragm shape is returned to the first diaphragm shape.
