PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary and small-sized signal input device in which there is no displacement such as turning of the device itself in signal input, stable signal inputting can be performed, sweating hardly occurs between fingers and the device and a user does not feel discomfort. SOLUTION: In a signal input device including a dynamically approximately L-shaped structure, input is performed while receiving power of the thumb at a signal input section on an upper surface of the L-shaped structure, the signal input device is held by receiving fingers on a bent portion of the L-shaped structure, and the signal input device is held by receiving the fingers in a lengthwise direction portion approximately linearly extending from the bent portion of the L-shaped structure.
