PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storage device capable of generating a synchronous clock having the accuracy of synchronization with a disk medium heightened by taking control characteristics of a spindle motor into consideration to improve the following accuracy of the disk medium to a rotational speed during a write operation. SOLUTION: In a disk drive including a synchronous clock generator 161 for generating a synchronous clock to synchronize with the speed of a disk medium 10 during a write operation, the synchronous clock generator 161 enters the acceleration of a spindle motor 11 as a feed-forward control input value to a feedback control system.
