PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board game having simple rules allowing a player to intuitively understand the rules, suitable as a family game, full of variety, and without making the player tired of the game. SOLUTION: A board 12 is segmented into 14 squares in the vertical and horizontal directions, and players facing each other alternately move their own pieces 20 or 30 to take the opponent's pieces to win in the board game. The squares 14 are formed of separated rectangular plates, and a direction indicator 15 indicating the direction for the piece 20 or 30 to advance is written on the surface of each square 14. The direction indicators 15 appear in parallel lines in the vertical and horizontal directions on the whole on the board 12, and the squares 14 can be freely rearranged for each game round.
