PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand tool device including a stable sliding clutch that is manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: There is provided a hand tool device 2 having a drive means 12 and a spindle 16 to be driven extending along a rotation axial line A, wherein a sliding clutch 14 provided between the drive means and the spindle to be driven has a plurality of clutch bodies 24. These clutch bodies can be engaged with a group of a drive-side clutch body accommodation part 26 and a group of a driven-side clutch body accommodation part 28, and an engagement of the clutch bodies 24 and the clutch body accommodation parts 26, 28 can be released against a spring force F generated by a spring means 34. The driven-side clutch body accommodation part 28 is constituted by making the driven spindle 16 formed into a recess that is opened in a radius direction with respect to the rotation axial line A.
