PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an elastic member from being broken, by reducing frictional resistance between the elastic member and an adhesive applying nozzle. SOLUTION: In the adhesive applying nozzle 2, the elastic member 9 to which a hot melt adhesive 5 is applied by the adhesive applying nozzle 2 moves along a prescribed moving pathway while contacting with a front guide 212 and a rear guide 213 provided on the upstream side and downstream side of a discharge port 211, and almost contacts with a pair of side guides protruding downward, at a position of the discharge port 211 and on the upstream side of the discharge port 211 on the moving pathway. The elastic member 9 enters the rear guide 213 at an angle of 15°or less at a contact starting position 2131 between the rear guide 213 and the elastic member 9, which reduces frictional resistance between the elastic member 9 and the rear guide 213 of the adhesive applying nozzle 2, thereby preventing the elastic member 9 from being broken by the resistance between it and the rear guide 213.
