<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile terminal such that the right-left center of a display panel meets the right-left center of a first case and an increase in size of the first case accompanying that can be suppressed as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The first case 2 incorporates a display device 6 including the display panel 4 which is laterally long in the right-left direction and a driver 5 driving the display panel 4. A pair of first hinge bearing portions 2a which swell from the display panel 4 toward a front surface are formed at right and left lower ends of the first case 2. An operation portion 8 is incorporated in a second case 3, and a pair of hinge bearing portions 3a which swell horizontally from an upper end of the operation portion 8 to between the first hinge bearing portions 2a are formed. An opening/closing shaft is provided in the right and left first hinge bearing portions 2a and second hinge bearing portions 3a which connect successively with one another to couple the first case 2 and second case 3 in a foldable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
