A method and a system of multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) data synchronization for a mobile network are disclosed. The mobile network includes a converging user plane process network element and a distributed network element. The converging user plane process network element sends the MBMS data via user plane processed and the set synchronization information to one or more distributed network element which the converging user plane process network element corresponding. Each of distributed network elements sends the received MBMS data to user equipments according the indicator of synchronization information.
