A load measuring device for a railway vehicle is provided to prevent vibration and noise of a railway vehicle and handle unbalance of wheel load and axial load by measuring wheel load acting on each wheel of a railway vehicle. A load measuring device for a railway vehicle comprises a wheel tread holding plate resting wheels and supporting wheel tread of a wheel(2); a flange fixing plate supporting a flange; a supporting part(10) consisted of a flange fixing groove housing the flange; a measuring part(20) detecting load of a railway vehicle, installed on the lower part of the supporting part; and a data processing part(30) processing load measured from the measuring part into data.
