An alpha-lipoic acid capsule composition is provided to inhibit degradation of alpha-lipoic acid by the external environments including water, temperature and light through capsulation, and maintaining the stability of alpha-lipoic acid from the interaction with other materials added together when it is applied to fermented food, food and medicine. The alpha-lipoic acid capsule composition comprises 0.1-20.0 wt.% of alpha-lipoic acid, 0.1-12 wt.% of one or more kinds of amino acid, 0.5-25.0 wt.% of one or more kinds of water-insoluble polymer having self-emulsifying property, and a remaining amount of water, hydrophilic solvent or their mixture, and is solidified with the spray drying method or freeze-drying method.
