A tilt device of the steering column is provided to prevent from the when crash accident tilt lever of the vehicles bumping into the knee of passenger by installing a tilt lever at the upper end of the steering column. A tilt device of the steering column comprises the rotating lever(30) which together unites one side and steering column(40) of the bracket(20); the tilt lever(10) in which the center area is broken with vertically to be connected with the rotating lever. The steering column includes the protrusion(42) connected to the tilt lever, the connection part(44) connected to bracket, and the hinge section(48) is formed.
