A network abnormality notice method and a home network device of the home network device for immediately notifying outside about the abnormality of network are provided to sense the abnormality of communication in a home network device. A memory(310) stores count information necessary for one or more telephone number and a count operation for providing information over the home network. A controller(320) performs a home network function on the operation information stored in the memory. A communications module(340) performs the home network communication. A telephone module(330) performs the telephone call.
