A brake friction material is provided to improve the heat radiating capability by efficiently absorbing the vibration generated in the friction surface using a concavo-convex region of a core. As a brake friction material, the behind adhered core(30: Shim) of the back plate supporting the rubbing main body is included. Brake friction material is prepared a concavo-convex region(31) in core and contacts to the back plate only each protrusion (31a) except for the recess portion (31b). The load is and accepts dispersed and the change of the friction surface is minimized.
