PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shifter which receives a control signal and makes first and second drive voltages produced. SOLUTION: The level shifter comprises first and second capacitors and first and second self-bias circuits for charging the first and second capacitors, by providing a power feeding path connecting with a DC bias voltage source, respectively, wherein the first and second capacitors generate a first and a second drive voltages by boosting the control signal, respectively. Furthermore, a video display system is also provided which includes an interface drive circuit for generating an export voltage signal of high-voltage level that utilizes the first and second drive voltages generated by the level shifter.
