PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve excellent flux transfer to an electronic component by obtaining a flux transfer state timely. SOLUTION: A flux 12 transferred on a transfer stage 9 to a bump electrode of an electronic component mounted on a substrate is deposited in a flux immersion area provided on the transfer stage 9 with specific thickness, the flux immersion area is irradiated with light by lighting 13, an image of the flux immersion area is imaged by a CCD camera 15, the obtained image is compared with a preregistered image, and the quality of the obtained image is determined on the basis of the result of the comparison.
