PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner with the disturbance of fixing attitude of a reflection mirror 55 suppressed, better than the conventional types. SOLUTION: The reflecting mirror 55 which reflects a light beam, emitted from an unillustrated laser diode, is energized against the mirror face positioning face of an apparatus body with a spring, and the mirror face of the reflecting mirror 55 is abutted against the mirror face positioning face so that the mirror face of the reflecting mirror 55 is positioned in the body of the optical scanner, wherein the body of the apparatus is provided with the receiving face which receives the edge face in the short-side direction of the reflecting mirror 55; the reflecting mirror 55 is energized against the mirror face, positioning face of the apparatus body with a first spring part 61 of a leaf spring unit 60; and the reflecting mirror 55 is energized against the receiving face with a second spring part 62 of the leaf spring unit 60, thus the mirror face of the reflecting mirror 55 is abutted against the mirror face positioning face and the edge face of the reflecting mirror 55 is abutted against the receiving face.
