PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of making ready-to-win symbols sufficiently appeal to a player while permitting the use of the whole display area in a variable display device for the display of game symbols. SOLUTION: A symbol display device 11 includes an organic EL display 21 having a display body part 31 formed in the shape of a rectangular sheet and having the front face 31a as the display screen, and a display screen deforming device 24 to bend the display screen of the organic EL display 21. The center of the display body part 31 in the longitudinal direction is fixed to the display screen deforming device 24, and one end edge 31b in the longitudinal direction and the other end edge 31c in the longitudinal direction of the display body part 31 are movable by the display screen deforming device 24. If a ready-to-win state is displayed in the organic EL display 21, the display screen of the organic EL display 21 is deformed between a cylindrical shape and a paraboloidal shape so that at least part of the area where the display related to the ready-to-win state is not displayed is not visible from the front side of the game machine.
