PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material excellent in practicability, capable of sufficiently increasing interlaminar shear strength and compression strength, compared with conventional composite materials. SOLUTION: The composite material is provided by alternately laminating prepregs 5 with resin sheets 6 comprising a curable resin, wherein the prepreg 5 is provided by impregnating a curable matrix resin 4 to a unidirectional fiber body 3 provided by unidirectionally paralleling a carbon fiber bundle 2 comprising converged plural carbon filaments 1 or a woven fibrous body provided by weaving the carbon fiber bundle 2 as the warps or wefts, and wherein cup stack type CNT (carbon nanotube) 7 is contained in the matrix resin 4 of the prepreg 5 and the curable resin of the resin sheet 6, in a dispersed state.
