PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem occurring as a digital camera is compactified since the bottom face of a lens adapter allowing attachment of a tele/wide conversion lens is protruded beyond the bottom face of a camera body when the lens adapter is attached to a camera and the camera cannot be fixed to a tripod and the like. SOLUTION: The lens adapter to be attached to the camera body has a spacer movable between a first position, which does not come in contact with the bottom face of the camera body, and a second position touching the bottom face of the camera body. The spacer is provided with a hole/notch so that a tripod screw arranged in the camera body bottom part is not blocked by it when the spacer is in the second position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
