PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stability when a display device is installed after space saving of an installation area of the display device is achieved, even when a display section is increased in size. SOLUTION: The display device 100 includes: the display section 102 having a display screen 102a displaying image information; and a support means 104 for supporting the display section. The support means includes: a base section 106 for coming into contact with a floor surface G1 on which the display device is installed; a wall surface support section 108 for coming into contact with a wall surface W1, when the display device is erected against the wall surface; a strut section 110 for connecting the base section and the wall surface support section; and a support shaft section 112 which is connected to the strut section, so as to be almost vertical and freely rotatably journals the display section. Non-slip members 107 and 109 for preventing slipping with respect to respective contact surfaces are attached to the contact portion with the floor surface of the base section and the contact portion with the wall surface of the wall surface support section.
