PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insole of a shoe, which allows a user to walk without feeling pain and is capable of more effectively preventing or correcting the hallux valgus by attaching a protective base board (a hallux support plate) raised on a firm bottom base board and relatively adjusting the position of the protective base board according to the size of the shoe or the position of the hallux of the user. SOLUTION: The insole of the shoe is constituted by a soft insole to be spread over the whole sole of the shoe, the hard base board fixed to the rear side of the soft insole at the toe part, and the protective base board integrally formed with the hard base board and approximately vertically erected on the upper surface of the soft insole. The soft insole is sufficiently large relative to the shoe of the applicable size, especially in the direction of the width of the foot, and the user can relatively adjust the position of the protective base board by cutting the soft insole according to the size of the shoe and the position of the hallux of the user.
