PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system and a printer which can select a printing job form according to the insertion form into a printing insertion portion by manual feeding. SOLUTION: A user manually feeds a tag paper one by one into a first insertion opening (11) or a second insertion opening (12). Whether the insertion is into the first insertion opening (11) or into the second insertion opening (12) determines whether to automatically print the same content as last time or to print a set printing form according to a print command.
