A sensing module and a harmful insect capturing apparatus having the same are provided to easily grasp a number of insects coming in and out the insect capturing apparatus. A sensing module comprises: a lighting-emitting unit(142) emitting the light of the beam pattern; a reflecting unit(144) which is provided on the girth of gateway and forms a light network on the same plane by repetitively reflecting the light radiated from the lighting-emitting unit; and a light detection unit(148) sensing the reflected light ray from the reflecting unit.
