<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of wavelength allocation method for reduced optical path rejection rate as well as an optical path network. <P>SOLUTION: The network allocation method in the optical path network is equipped with a wavelength converter WC in at least one of them. When an optical path is set which runs from a transmission node s, being a start point, for transmitting optical signal to the optical path network to a reception node d, being an end point, the wavelength of usable optical signal is allocated to each relay node present between the transmission node and reception node. Here, an opening wavelength and an opening wavelength converter are selected which are the lowest in the rate of using of the wavelength converter WC by a transmission/reception node pair other than that to be set for optical path, considering the past use history of the wavelength converter WC at each relay node to be set for optical path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
