<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard apparatus which is improved in space efficiency and the degree of freedom of mounting. <P>SOLUTION: In a key support part 13 of a key unit, an arm part 13A projected toward a lower side and a first engagement part 13B projected toward a side distant from a player at a lower end of the arm part 13A are provided. In a key frame 20, an erect wall part 22D projected to upper side compared with a key mounting part 22A and a second engagement part 22E projected to a player's side at an upper end of the standing wall part 22D are provided. Thus, the first engagement part 13B and the second engagement part 22E can be provided on the upper side compared with the key mounting part 22A.
