<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system which reduces power consumption by significantly improving responsiveness in shifting to the low power consumption mode. <P>SOLUTION: The computer system includes a processor device having an execution state and a suspension state, and an access controlling means accessing a functional block according to a command request from the processor device, wherein, upon receiving a sleep request signal, the processor device responds with a sleep response signal and outputs, to the access controlling means, a suspension notification signal indicating transition to the suspension state, and the access controlling means masks the input of a command request after receiving the command request in the case where the processor device has output the command request when the access controlling means receives the suspension notification signal, masks the input of a command request in the case where the processor device has not output the command request, and removes the mask when the suspension notification signal is negated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
