PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically shorten processing time to form a fluorescent VS image. SOLUTION: By displaying the entire image of a sample formed under a bright field observation method, optional areas (noticeable areas #1 and #2) are designated. Under a fluorescent observation method, the microscopic image of every small section obtained by dividing the noticeable area into plurality is acquired for every noticeable area, and a plurality of microscopic images are connected, thereby forming the fluorescent VS image of the noticeable area.
