PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display having a display panel structure that is simple, and also, capable of efficiently radiating the heat of the upsizing display panel. SOLUTION: Regarding the flat panel display, the display panel is configured to discretely dispose a plurality of heat conductive members on the rear side thereof, and to connect a chassis member thereto in a heat connection state. In an area of the display panel where the thermal conductive members are not disposed, a cavity formed by the chassis member, the display panel and the heat conductive member is formed to a cylindrical gap, both ends of which are open, and which functions as a ventilation path for natural convection of air. A plurality of through holes are formed in an area of the chassis member not connecting to the display panel with the thermal conductive member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
