PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine data of three-dimensional shape of a face turned to a predetermined direction while minimizing restraint of a subject and reducing the defect of a half mirror. SOLUTION: A mirror 130 is disposed above a camera 110 of a range finder 100. When the subject projects his/her face on the mirror 130, a state where the face is turned to the predetermined direction to the camera 110 is provided. The camera 110 photographs the face turned to the mirror 130 at the angle (for example, 12°) at which it slightly looks up from the downside. Thus, the three-dimensional shape of a characteristic part of the face such as the bottom of the nose or the lower surface of the jaw can be determined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
