PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which hardly causes defects by enhancing the flatness of an ejection surface, an image forming apparatus which is equipped with the liquid ejection head, and a manufacturing method for the liquid ejection head. SOLUTION: This liquid ejection head comprises a channel layer with a liquid chamber 3 which is formed of a plated layer on a conductive layer 7, and a top plate layer which is formed by plating the channel layer and which serves as a top plate 11 for the liquid chamber 3. In the liquid ejection head, a conductive layer 8 different from the plated layer is formed on the inner wall surface of the liquid chamber 3 provided with the top plate 11, and continuously formed among the plurality of liquid chambers 3.
