PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of each nozzle and to suppress cross talk of nozzles. SOLUTION: Every other nozzles among first cyan nozzles NC1 linearly arranged along a longitudinal direction of a first cyan nozzle array C1, and every other second cyan nozzles NC1 not pairing with the earlier selected first cyan nozzles NC1 among second cyan nozzles NC2 similarly linearly arranged along the longitudinal direction are made a group A. First and second cyan nozzles NC1 and NC2 not belonging to the group A are made another group. Both groups are changed over by every predetermined timing to be set as a using object group. A fluid is ejected from the nozzles which belong to the set using object group. The action of relatively moving a target and a head after a dot array is formed to the target is repeated.
