PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal such as aluminum, which has high water repellency and can remove condensed water on the fin surface of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: There is provided a coated material of metal which has, on at least one surface of a metal material such as aluminum, a primer coat consisting of an organic resin containing an organic or inorganic fine particles (A) and a finishing coat thereon that exhibits water repellency. The average particle size of the fine particles (A) is made larger by 1.5 or more times than the film thickness of the organic resin primer coat. In addition to the fine particles (A) fine particles (B) are used which have an average particle size of≤1/4 that of the fine particles (A). Also it is included that a coated material in which the primer coat containing the fine particles (B) is formed on the primer coat containing the fine particles (A).
