PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect movement information of a cautery region in an ultrasonic therapy in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The cautery region movement area setting part 7 of an ultrasonic therapy apparatus 100 sets a three-dimensional cautery region including a region to be treated on the basis of volume data of a reference respiratory phase collected from a patient and further sets the movement area of the cautery region on the basis of volume data collected time sequentially in a plurality of respiratory phases following the reference respiratory phase. Next, in irradiating the prescribed cautery position of the cautery region with strong ultrasonic waves according to a cautery plan set on the basis of the volume data of the reference respiratory phase, a cautery region movement detection part 8 detests the movement information on the cautery region by performing arithmetic operation processing of the two volume data collected in the respective adjacent respiratory phases within the range of the movement area.
