PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of decreasing the number of component parts, eliminating the risk of dislocation or slipping-off of a filter, and reducing beating sounds when a valve member is seated. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve is equipped with a valve body having an opening at the forefront, a valve member to slide inside the valve body and opening and closing the opening in the valve body, an armature whereto the valve member is secured, a spring to energize the armature toward the opening, and a solenoid to move the armature against the energizing force of the spring toward the side opposite to the opening, and is structured so that fuel is injected by feeding the current to the solenoid and thereby moving the armature. The armature is made of a porous metal, and that the fuel supplied to an injection hole penetrates the armature. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
