The method involves combining the devices and functions into a universal, standardized device, where the devices are necessary for detecting illegal contacts. Encrypted data is communicated with a machine control and a machine manufacturer, and the detected physical parameters are assigned to event classes by signature analysis in a standardized manner. Results of the machine control of a machine to be protected are transferred into an encrypted, durably flowing data flow after evaluation. An independent claim is also included for a universal device for machine configuration by individual counteractive measures of releasing signature analysis forming event classes.
