<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress attaching of developer to a developer cartridge while improving attachment/detachment function of the developer cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: Dropped developer drops onto an elastic member 138 arranged between a developing machine 38 in a developing position and a developer cartridge 100 in an adjacent developing machine 38 which is on an upstream side in a rotating direction and by the elastic member 138 receiving the developer, attaching of the developer to the developer cartridge 100 is prevented or suppressed. As a result, soiling of an operator's hand by the developer is prevented or suppressed during attachment/detachment (exchange) of the developer cartridge 100. The attachment/detachment function (exchanging property) of the developer cartridge 100 is improved since an operation region for the operator is enlarged by making the elastic member 138 flexible during attachment/detachment of the developer cartridge 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
