<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting device in which uniform surface light-emission can be realized, which is superior in mass producibility and cost performance, which is also easily available for thinning design, and which has a high product value. <P>SOLUTION: At the outer peripheral part of a transparent acrylate plate 1, numerous LEDs 2 are arranged toward the center part of the acrylate plate 1 so as to surround this acrylate plate 1, at the center part which is the bottom face part 1b of this acrylate plate 1, a reflection inclined face part 3 is installed in which light 'a' made incident in the acrylate plate 1 from the LEDs 2 is reflected or diffused/reflected upward, at the upper face part 1a of this acrylic plate 1, a fine uneven face part 4 is installed by surface-roughing processing, and the light 'a' made incident inside the acrylate plate 1 from the LEDs 2 is diffused and emitted from the fine uneven face part 4 of the upper face part 1a of this acrylate plate 1 while being reflected or diffused/reflected upward by the reflection inclined face part 3, thereby an inclined angle of the reflection inclined face part 3 against an incident angle of the light 'a' from the LEDs 2 is set so that this fine uneven face part 4 surface-emits the light uniformly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
