PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicidal composition which has a broad weeding spectrum, is highly active, and has a herbicidal effect persistent over a long period. SOLUTION: The herbicidal composition comprises (a) a herbicidal benzoylpyrazole compound represented by formula (I) (wherein Q is -C(O)SR<SP>3</SP>or hydrogen; R<SP>1</SP>is an alkyl or a cycloalkyl; R<SP>2</SP>is hydrogen or an alkyl; R<SP>3</SP>is an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or the like; R<SP>4</SP>is an alkyl, a haloalkyl or the like; R<SP>5</SP>is hydrogen, an alkyl or the like; and R<SP>6</SP>is a haloalkyl, a halogen or the like) or its salt and (b) another herbicidal compound (for example, atrazine, bromoxynil or the like) as active ingredients.
