PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded type speaker having a structure to prevent vibration generated from being transmitted to a next room or a building body via a ceiling material, and having good construction property and design. SOLUTION: The speaker 1 includes; a first vibration preventing member 4a which has vibration absorption performance and is held between a speaker body part 2 and a flange part 3; and a second vibration preventing member 4b arranged between a fixing member 5 suspended toward the flange part 3 and the ceiling material 102. The speaker body part 2 is fitted from a room side into the speaker attachment hole 103 of a ceiling surface 101. The flange part 3 is insulated from the speaker body part 2 through the use of the first and second vibration preventing members 4a, 4b. When sound is issued, the vibration generated in the speaker body part 2 is prevented from being transmitted to the flange part 3 and the ceiling surface 101. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
