PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk memory device that can realize head positioning with a sufficient accuracy without causing reduction in track density even when a data track width is made variable. SOLUTION: In the disk memory device, concentric servo tracks are configured at regular intervals, and the disk memory device includes a disk medium 2 recording servo data including position information, the position information indicating a position where a position of each servo track and a range of a servo track width can be detected in a unit of a predetermined minimum offset amount, and includes a controller 10 that controls positioning of a head 4 with respect to a data track with a variable track width based on the servo tracks.
