PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a different material determination device that is a simple device, does not break components, and allows uniform determination without requiring judgment by a person. SOLUTION: This different material determination device uses a resonance circuit 5 including a coil 2 for receiving a determining object material inside. When the determining object material is stored inside a coil 2 and an oscillation section 1 is operated, the resonance circuit 5 outputs a signal of a natural amplitude according to the magnetic permeability possessed by the determining object material. Therefore, the amplitude level is detected by a detecting means 9, and the difference of the determining object material can be determined uniformly based on the detected amplitude level.
