PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional gas rate sensor requires a large casing when each sensing wire is lengthened to increase its resistance value since sensing wires are provided in parallel with a face of an electrode holder. SOLUTION: In a gas rate sensor, F-shaped electrode supporting members 100 and 200 are provided for an electrode holder 5. Each height of first to fourth electrodes 11-14 is changed by the electrode supporting members 100 and 200 to extend first and second sensing wires H1 and H2 in parallel with a center axis 5a.
