PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom in setting the shape of an accessory attached to a header tank of a heat exchanger and its attaching position. SOLUTION: The header tank 10 of this heat exchanger comprises a header plate 11 having a tube insertion hole, and a tank plate 12 constituting spatial portions R1, R2 communicated with a tube. The header plate 11 and the tank plate 12 are joined. The header plate 11 has recessed portions 11k, 11n. The tank plate 12 has caulking portions 12i, 12j.
