PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device generating mists, capable of adjusting water supply, adjusting humidification by adjusting mist generation, suppressing attachment of bacteria and scale growing when a rotating plate is stopped in a wetted state, reducing the number of times of cleaning and maintenance, and stably performing humidification by reducing fluctuation of a water level in a water storage tank and stably supplying the water. SOLUTION: This humidifying device having the rotating plate 104 diffusing water by centrifugal force, and generating mist by collision of diffused water with the rotating plate 104, comprises a water storage tank 102 disposed at a lower portion of the rotating plate 104, and a water supply pipe 103 extending from the rotating plate 104 to the water storage tank 102, and sucking up the water by rotation, and further comprises a water supply adjusting means for adjusting the water supply to the rotating plate 104. As the water supply to the rotating plate 104 can be adjusted and stopped, the humidifying device of high usability capable of adjusting the humidification and performing dewatering of the rotating plate 104 can be provided.
