摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic structure of a stonework capable of flexibly and effectively preventing the stonework formed by stacking a plurality of stone block units from being collapsed or displaced when a strong earthquake or vibration occurs. SOLUTION: A plurality of first circular holes 22 are formed in the contact surface S3 of one stone block unit 20 on the other stone block unit 30 among the upper and lower stone block units 20, 30 stacked on the stages other than the uppermost stage of the stonework 1 of a multi-stage structure symmetrically with respect to the XY centerline of the contact surface S3. A first cylindrical damping member 4 formed of a rubber material with low resilience and high tensile strength is do vertically interposed between these upper and lower stone block units 20, 30 as to be positioned at the center of each of the first circular holes 22. The size of the first circular holes 22 can accommodate the deformation of the first cylindrical damping member 4 produced against the expected earthquake or vibration with maximum magnitude.
