PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene-based resin composition suitable as a material for a film for packaging a retort food, having each excellent appearance, transparency, low-temperature impact resistance, blocking resistance and whitening resistance in bending deformation. SOLUTION: The polypropylene-based resin composition comprising a polymer part of monomers including propylene as an essential component, and a copolymer part of the propylene and ethylene comprises (A) 87-96 wt.% propylene-based copolymer satisfying the following requirements 1 and 2, and (B) 4-13 wt.% copolymer selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-butene-1 copolymer, an ethylene-hexene-1 copolymer and an ethylene-octene-1 copolymer (with the proviso that the total weight of the polypropylene-based resin composition is 100 wt.%): (requirement-1): the intrinsic viscosity [η]CXS (dL/g) of a 20°C xylene soluble part is≥2.9 and≤3.1; and (requirement-2): the intrinsic viscosity [η]CXIS (dL/g) of a 20°C xylene insoluble part is≥1.8 and≤2.2.
