The invention relates to a portable domestic floor cleaning device (1) with a wiping roller (11). The device (1) is normally moved in two opposing directions (r, r'). According to the invention, the design of a domestic floor cleaning device of the type in question may be improved with regard to the desired cleaning result, by providing two wiping rollers (11, 12) at a separation from each other in the direction of travel (r), both of which may rotate, however firstly at least one of which is blocked in a direction of travel (r, r') of the device (1).
